What Does "Fit Print to Page" Mean?
ArapaMAP will automatically try to fit what is on your map screen to the printable area on your page.  You will never lose any visible information this way, but since print windows can be drastically different, you may see a bit of extra map information on your print.  Most users use ArapaMAP in such a way that the map view is wider than taller.  Printing to a portrait map (taller than wider) will result in added map real estate to the top and bottom of your visible map.

If you un-check "Fit Print to Page" ArapaMAP will honour the map scale you have set in ArapaMAP.  This means that if your map scale is set to 1 Info equals 100 Feet, that is the scale your printout will be at.  This will sometimes result in the edges of your displayed map either getting cut off, or extra map information being displayed.  This is especially true if you print out a wide screen on a tall map, or print maps using some of the larger page sizes.  For scaled maps such as these, you may need to adjust your view and scale a few times to get it "right".
